THE FAST RUNNER (2023)
Kadance Production's Ken Shapkin is honoured to be a part of the team of producers working with David Bercovici-Artieda to bring this story to screens and classrooms around the world!
'The Fast Runner is a story of love perseverance and the human will to survive. Following the life of a young Jewish girl in Poland during the holocaust. This heart-touching story acts as a historical tool of education against the ongoing antisemitic violence and discrimination that is still ongoing in today's world.
Principle photography of the fast runner was completed in Victoria BC in Oct 2023. We are currently in the post-production, watch for our premier announcements in the summer of 2024!

Join us as we examine how the Siegel Family has built Community through Food, and Music, opening their doors to the community and treating costumers like family! Inclusivity, Diversity and Equality are the core principles of this establishment. KIRI AND THE GIRL (2021)

'Kiri and The Girl’ is a story of connection, following a young girl as she grieves her mother and is led by symbols and shadows to reclaim her heritage. It is based on the experiences of Tlingit artist and Pow Wow dancer Kiri Geen who studied Northwest Coast Art after her adoption.
